They say the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, and we have five delicious Valentine’s snacks to put that theory to the test! If you’re looking for fun treats to surprise the kiddos with this Valentine’s Day or to create together for some bonding time, we’ve got you covered! We rounded up some of our favorite toddler-friendly ideas from the web. Enjoy!

1. Valentine Rice Krispy Treats

Nothing says love like homemade Rice Krispy Treats. And few things could be simpler than these adorable Valentine ‘s-themed ones. This recipe comes from Barbara Bakes, and we highly recommend you check out some of her other delicious treats! In addition to traditional Rice Krispy treat ingredients, you’ll need red and pink sprinkles and Jet-Puffed heart marshmallows.

2. Marshmallow Love Bugs

Chocolate-covered pretzels are a favorite snack of mine any time of year! These Valentine’s-themed ones coated in colorful sugar are delicious and adorable! This cute idea is from Love from the Oven, and the site provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to make not just these but a variety of chocolate-covered pretzel treats!

 

4. Calzone Hearts

Valentine’s Day is typically all about chocolate and sweet treats, but not everyone is a fan of sugar! If your Valentine doesn’t have a sweet tooth, try your hand at making these delicious calzone hearts from Hungry Happenings. You’ll need a heart-shaped muffin or cupcake pan; otherwise, these little treats are simple to make!

5. Heart Fruit & Dip

If you want your Valentine’s snack to be sweet and healthy, check out these adorable heart-shaped fruit skewers with yogurt dip. We found a lot of versions of this cute idea online, but this one is courtesy of Dillions. A small heart-shaped cookie cutter is the only unique tool you’ll need to create this yummy snack! You can forgo the skewer and arrange the heart-shaped fruit on the plate for simplicity.
